Kelly Knief is a senior at Barstow where she participates in the Knight Stars Dance Team, Karienssentes Student Ambassador Program, National Honor Society, French Honor Society, and Yearbook. Kelly regularly volunteers at Wayside Waifs, Blessings Abound, and various YVC events. She also dances competitively at the Pulse Performing Arts Center. In her free time, Kelly enjoys spending time with friends and her pets. Kelly is excited to be a part of the Youth Advisory Board for her third year.

Tongtong Yi is a junior at Shawnee Mission East High School. At East, he is involved with debate at the varsity level, SHARE, Student Council, Link Crew, and Junior Board. He enjoys volunteering, working with his community through SHARE, doing debate tournaments, and spending time with friends and family. Tongtong is eager to serve on YAB and is excited for this upcoming year and hopes to do as much as possible for YVCKC.

Caroline Lubbe is a tenth grader in Kansas City. She has served with YVC for 5 years and she loves volunteering. This is Caroline’s second year on the International Youth Advisory Board and her third on her local Youth Advisory board. Her favorite part about YVC is helping other youth find a passion for service. Caroline’s favorite volunteer projects are helping children and working with individuals with special needs. Outside of volunteering, Caroline loves taekwondo, and band.

Sabrina Dean is a sophomore at Shawnee Mission East, she is a part of her school's dance team, Le Dance Studio's Competition Company, a Photographer for Harbinger (school's newspaper), and SHARE (school's service organization), as well as clubs. Along with that, she is also on the Leadership Council for Scraps KC, as well as doing community service across the area. Sabrina enjoys spending her days with friends, and family, and her dog as well as getting coffee and brunch. Sabrina has a passion for making equality in the world, making changes, and helping wherever she can, she hopes she can help YAB grow during her first year.

Kaytlyn Winn is a junior at Shawnee Mission East High School and is a part of dance team, track and field, Junior Board, and volunteers at other organizations in the area. She is also apart of the Scraps KC leadership board as well as the FEI advisory Board. She enjoys spending time with her family as well as her two dogs. This is her second year on YAB and she can’t wait to see how much it grows.

Yan Tar Na Oo is the oldest child of 4 children. She was born in Mae Le, Thailand and moved to Kansas City in 2012 with her family. She is currently a senior at Lincoln Prepartory Academy. During her free time, she likes to work on her bullet journal and read. Some of her favorite genres are horror and mystery. She might seem like an extrovert based on your first interaction, but she is quite an introvert once you truly get to know her.

Rose Lubbe is a sophomore at Blue Valley Northwest High School. This will be her third year serving on YAB. Rose enjoys photography, drawing, and playing with her rescue dog Maci. Rose is a very creative person who is very resilient and kind. She loves to volunteer and has participated in YVC projects since she was eleven. In addition to volunteering with YVC, Rose volunteers in her church nursery and with the YMCA Challenger adaptive sports program. Her favorite subject in school is English. In her free time she enjoys listening to audiobooks.
