Weekend Projects
Most Saturdays throughout the year (and occasionally on Fridays or Sundays), YVCKC sponsors several community service projects for youth. These projects are typically in the morning and last 3-4 hours at a Greater Kansas City area nonprofit organization. Times will vary.
To volunteer with us, please complete a YVCKC Volunteer Profile and Guardian Waiver and return it to our office or bring it with you to your first project. If you have volunteered with us in the past, but have not yet volunteered with us this school year (August - May), you must re-submit the necessary forms so that we can keep our files updated. You can sign up for a project by filling out one of the contact forms below (we will send you a confirmation email), or by contacting the Team Leader office. Click on each project's address to be sent to a Google map pinpointing the location of the event. It is important to sign up in advance, since some projects have limited space and work available. It is preferable to contact us at least 24 hours in advance of a project—our office closes at 4:30 p.m. on Fridays.
