- In order to participate in our Saturday projects, you must contact us beforehand and sign up for the project. It's very important to sign up in advance since some projects have limited space and work available.
- Projects are led by trained, first-aid/CPR-certified Team Leaders.
- Each project includes service-learning, team building and reflection activities.
- If you have not volunteered with us before (or have not volunteered since August of '09), please download, print, and complete these forms and bring them to the project.
YVCKC FOOD DRIVE: During the months of December and January we will be collecting non perishable items for Harvesters Community Food Network. If you are able, please bring a few food items to Saturday projects through Feb. 6. The food drive will end with our Sunday Family Service Project at the Harvesters Souper Bowl Sunday event Feb. 7th.

Shawnee Community Services! Organizing housewares, books, clothing, and weather permitting, working outside in the garden.We will be organizing merchandise at this social service agency which offers a hand up to anyone in need, from food and clothing to development of life skills and resource management.

B.E.S.T! Beyond the Evening Star Theatre. Help developmentally disabled individuals plan and perform skits and plays.

Harvesters Community Food Bank! Youth Volunteers will be sorting and packaging food for needy families in the Greater Kansas City Area. Casual Dress. You must wear close toed shoes, little or no jewlery. Harvesters encourages volunteers to bring non-perishable items, but this is not required.

Spay and Neuter Kansas City- Community Outreach! Volunteers will be canvassing neighborhoods, in teams, to find pet owners in need and provide food, supplies, education, etc.
