- I.E.J Farms (Weeks 2 and 4)- Isaac Eugene Jefferson Farms works in their own neighborhood to provide a clean and enjoyable space for residents. YVC loves joining forces with this group to strengthen and brighten the neighborhood! This summer we will be assisting with their community garden, providing lawn and yard assistance for the elderly, and taking on projects aimed at community beautification. It will be full of agricultural education in an urban setting. You will be outside enjoying the summer sun, while seeing its effects in the garden!
- Great Plains SPCA (Week 2)- Make a commitment to homeless animals this summer! Volunteers will assist with walking dogs, socializing cats, and cleaning with the “Sparkle Crew.” Other volunteers will assist with the “Young Heroes for Pets” camp as children learn about the pets in their care at Great Plains SPCA. As well as other members of the animal kingdom, what their needs are, and how to be HEROES for them. Projects include making toys and treats for shelter pets or pets at home, making animal-themed art pieces, crafts, interactive games, performances and more. MUST BE 16+ YEARS OLD TO VOLUNTEER

Youth volunteers will be helping to chip and mulch trails, put down gravel and railroad steps as well as working on 3 ½ miles of trails.
- Wayside Waifs (Weeks 1 and 5)- Who doesn’t love animals? Help orphaned and abandoned animals find forever homes this summer!
